The water lily is one of the most ​fascinating aquatic plants in the Amazon. ​With its huge leaves that can reach more ​than 2 meters in diameter, it is considered ​a symbol of the region. Many tourists visit ​the region to observe the water lily in its ​natural habitat and to take stunning photos ​of its beautiful white lilies.

Discover the legendary aquatic creatures that ​populate Amazonian waters, such as the ​majestic Pirarucu and the exotic electric fish.

Electric eels

The Amazon electric fish is a fascinating and unique animal. Also ​known as poraquê, it is capable of generating an electrical discharge ​of up to 600 volts, which is used both to defend itself from predators ​and to hunt its prey.

These fish are found in rivers and lakes in the Amazon region, and ​can measure more than 2 meters in length. In addition to its ​electrical capacity, the poraquê is also known for its dark coloring ​and elongated body, which help it camouflage itself in the water.

Despite being very fascinating animals, it is important that people ​take care when approaching an Amazonian electric fish, as its ​electrical discharge can be dangerous to humans.

SUMMARY 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS

DAY 01 - Arriving in the Jungle

Our driver and guide will pick you up from your ​chosen hotel in Manaus at 8 am. From there, we will ​proceed to Ceasa Harbor, where we will board a boat ​to Careiro Village. On the way we stop at the Meeting ​of the waters for photos and explanations about the ​confluence of the two rivers - Rio Negro and ​Solimões River which together become the Great ​Amazon River. We will then take a 50-minute combi ​van along Road BR319 to our final destination, ​Maçarico Lake, where our lodge is situated.

After savoring a delectable lunch, we are now ​prepared to commence our jungle tour, featuring a ​range of exciting activities, including:

Embark on a boat tour along the lakes and rivers to ​witness the authentic environment of the area. It's an ​excellent opportunity to spot birds or monkeys ​perched on the branches of trees.

It's time to engage in piranha fishing at the lake​ while also learning about the different types of fish ​that local people consume as part of their daily ​meals.

As the sun sets, it provides a perfect opportunity to ​appreciate the beauty of nature. Observe the birds ​and dolphins in the lake, while enjoying the serene ​view of the jungle in the afternoon.

Our day does not conclude with the sunset; instead, ​we have an exhilarating tour- the Caiman Spotting.​ Our knowledgeable guide will show you one explain ​more about this incredible species that inhabits the ​Amazon.

DAY 02 and DAY 03 - Medicinal Plants, ​curiosity and Overnight Camping
